Riboflavin isn't just one of the essential nutrients in milk, it's also a movie about one of the essential nutrients in milk!
When two curious young men experiment with an excess of riboflavin, it creates a rift in the space-time continuum. Now, with the help of the time traveler in their closet, they must correct a causality crisis before it's too late. Or at least before lunch.
Riboflavin! was chosen as one of the six short films produced for Vancouver's Crazy8s film competition in 2009. The competition hears pitches from sixty prospective filmmakers, selects ten semi-finalists to submit completed scripts, and then determines the final six films. As one of the final selections, Riboflavin! was made in just eight days with a cash budget of eight hundred dollars, and the generous support of local production services.
